Questions and answers
Everything you need to know before creating an event.
These answers cover the current Mazelvite product. More detailed help can be added as the production launch expands.
What is Mazelvite?
Mazelvite is a digital invitation platform for creating an event, choosing or uploading an invitation, managing households, sharing personalized invitation links, and tracking RSVPs from one host dashboard.
Can I upload an invitation I already designed?
Yes. Upload a finished front design or a front-and-back design, then add the envelope, event details, guest list, delivery, calendar, map, and RSVP experience around it.
How are invitation credits counted?
One credit covers the first send to one household or invitation group. Multiple recipients in that household do not require additional first-send credits, and ordinary resends do not consume another credit.
Does Mazelvite send text and WhatsApp messages automatically?
Email can be delivered through Mazelvite. For text and WhatsApp, Mazelvite prepares the personalized message and secure link, then opens the host's own Messages or WhatsApp composer. The host sends from their own number, so replies return naturally to them.
Can guests change an RSVP?
Hosts can choose whether response changes are allowed. When enabled, the personalized guest link can be used to update the household response.
Can an event have more than one host or designer?
Yes. Event access can be delegated to cohosts, invitation designers, or viewers with different permission levels.
Can guests add the event to a calendar?
Yes. Published guest invitations include an Add to calendar action that does not place the guest's private RSVP token inside the calendar file.
Are uploaded invitation files public?
Customer invitation media is stored privately. Mazelvite uses controlled application routes and short-lived upload permissions rather than exposing storage credentials in the browser.
Can I print the invitation?
After at least one invitation is successfully sent, the host can access print and keepsake output based on the retained sent version of the design.
